Aimee & Jurjen's intimate countryside wedding
Castigliano bride Aimee married husband Jurjen on the 29th of October 2017 at Swancar Farm Country House, Trowell. Set amidst 250 acres of rolling Nottinghamshire countryside, the beautiful 16th century country house provided the perfect romantic and elegant backdrop for their intimate wedding.
The bride looked stunning in the Statuesque gown in silk zibeline paired with the Jubilee sequinned lace shrug and a matching lace edged veil.
“I felt like a princess. I have never felt so beautiful. I was so excited to wear my beautiful dress and show it off to all our guests who just loved it”
How did Jurjen propose?
We had just got our keys to our new home together and he said ‘how about we make this day a bit more special’ and proposed.
Wedding venue and any special reason for choosing the venue?
My best friend got married at Swancar and it was a beautiful day, amazing food and the staff were just so lovely. We wanted to get married quickly so that my grandmother and Jurjen’s mum could share the day with us as they both had ill health. For us the most important thing was the people to share our special day with. Swancar was beautiful, intimate and Hayley, our wedding planner from Swancar, made the process very easy given we did it all in 6 months.
What did you enjoy the most about your Caroline Castigliano experience?
From the moment of walking in and seeing all the beautiful gowns to drinking champagne and finding the ‘one’ with help of Caroline’s lovely team. Then having my dress made to fit me and be able to customise it to suit me along with all the accessories was very special.
