From the initial consultation to the final fitting, our team will work with you at every stage to create your personal vision of perfection. Once the gown has been chosen, our team of experts will begin the process of crafting it to perfection.
The Design Process
At our atelier, we firmly believe that every bride should be able to walk down the aisle in a gown that is as unique and special as she is. That’s why we go above and beyond to create a bespoke and personalised experience for each and every one of our clients, ensuring that every gown we craft is a true reflection of the bride who will wear it. From the initial consultation to the final fitting, we are dedicated to bringing your bridal vision to life, one stitch at a time. Because at our atelier, every bride deserves a gown made just for her.
Our gowns are fully made-to-measure, ensuring a perfect fit that flatters your unique body shape. Our couture-trained fitting managers will take at least 20 measurements to create a pattern tailored specifically for you. And with three to four follow-up appointments, we’ll ensure that the final fit and finish are seamless.
Corsetry
But it’s not just the fit that’s important – it’s the foundation. Our corsets are the engineering behind our gowns – a work of art that hand-cuts each panel to mould and sculpt your figure. Enhancing your bust while minimising your waist, the cut and drape of the gown will follow the sensational lines created by the corset.
This essential foundation creates a flattering silhouette and takes supreme skill. The expert team of seamstresses at Caroline Castigliano has elevated corsetry to an art form, honing their craft over thirty years of continuous fine-tuning and adjustment.
Toiles
And to ensure that every aspect is impeccable, we craft a toile – a technique commonly utilised in bridal couture to meticulously tailor the gown to your unique physique. After the initial pattern created for your measurements is finished, a toile is created from calico to perfect the shape of the dress. During the toile fitting, the pattern is adjusted, shaped, and sculpted; these alterations are then relayed back to the pattern before the dress is cut out.

Embellishment
