#CCBrideoftheWeek - Beverly Richardson

Beverly Richardson is our gorgeous #CCBrideoftheWeek this week, although the wedding was a little while ago now (in 2008) the memory of it is clearly still as vivid for Beverly today as it was back then. Her account and memories that she’s shared with us are beautiful:

“My wonderful wedding day was on the 2nd August 2008 at the fabulous venue Thornton Manor on the Wirral. We had exclusive use of the manor house and grounds and I was treated like a princess all day & evening.

I met my husband through a speed dating agency in Didsbury South Manchester in 2004. I used to work at Unilever many years ago and drove past Thornton Manor and gaze through the gate house, wondering what the rest of the place looked like. I couldn’t believe it when it became a wedding venue. As soon as we walked in the main doors with my parents we knew that this was the venue for us.

My sister also purchased her wedding dress a few years previous to our wedding from Caroline Castigliano. The whole experience at one of your Caroline Castigliano Stockists in Wilmslow made me feel so special. The ladies who helped choose the dress of my dreams were amazing.

Trying on different styles until we found the one was great fun, we knew it was the one when my mum, sister, best friend & I had tears in our eyes. The changing room was fabulous and we were never rushed. I was able to come in several times to try on my gown to help decide on jewellery, this was important as I had been allowed to borrow my jewellery from an amazing jeweller in Chester. I felt a million dollars.

My first dance was a highlight as I’m not one for dancing in public but with our chosen song Amazed by Lonestar I was in the moment & enjoyed every moment with husband as well as a dance with my father.

The speech by my husband was fun, re-enacting the speed dating with some of our friends who were their the night we met also.”
