Glamourous Winter London Hotel Wedding
London never fails to make a stunning backdrop for a wedding and what better than a chic and glamorous winter wedding at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel – a true Victorian masterpiece in the capital.
Dominique and Charlie accented the best features of this gorgeous London venue and complemented the already divine surroundings with stunning floral installations for a modern take on a classic elegant affair.
See it all unfold through the lens of John Nassari.
The couple was originally introduced as teenagers by one of Dominique’s bridesmaids, but didn’t become a couple until 2014 when they met again at the Charlie’s cousins wedding.
“The man I bumped into outside the church that day was very different to the boy I had met all those years ago – the rest is history”
“We married at Saint Sophia Greek Cathedral, where Charlie’s cousin married and had the reception at the Renaissance hotel. I have a real love of history and have read every Tudor novel going and felt rather strongly about having a historical building as the venue”.
The bride looked stunning in a handcrafted bespoke Caroline Castigliano Eternal Love designer wedding gown with Swarovski crystals.
“I knew I wanted a classic dress with a modern twist and when I tried the Eternal Love gown I just felt ‘wow’ in it. It was completely different to any others I had tried and with a gorgeous peplum that gave it a couture runway feel – I felt beautiful but sexy at the same time”.
What did you enjoy the most about your Caroline Castigliano experience?
“The flagship store in Knightsbridge is beautiful – I enjoyed the whole experience. Caroline’s designs are stunning and I knew it was a once in a lifetime experience to enter the world of bridal, so I really embraced appreciating all of the gowns and the beautiful fabrics and designs. Having a dress Made to Measure was wonderful with the team going the extra mile to ensure my dress fit me just right. I would recommend this to anyone as it meant my dress fit me like a glove”.
Do you have a favourite moment of the day?
“I have four favourite moments of the day. Our entrance song to the party was ‘Waiting all night’ by Ella Eyre and Rudimental – that was amazing! Everyone was just so happy and ready to party.
Our first dance was really special as we both have a connection to the song and it felt as though it was just me and him in the room.
I serenaded him after his speech, as I am a singer. His speech was so amazing, he said many wonderful things that when I sang Sam Smith’s ‘How will I know’ I was truly singing it just for him, a way of saying thank you for loving me”.
