Princess Eugenie marries Jack Brooksbank
Princess Eugenie, the Queen’s granddaughter and Jack Brooksbank married today at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, the same chapel Prince Harry married Meghan Markle earlier this year.
Among 850 guests were celebrities such as Liv Tyler, Demi Moore, Cara Delevingne and Robbie Williams, while 1,200 people chosen by ballot followed proceedings from the grounds.
The bride’s couture wedding gown was designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos and the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara, lent to her by Her Majesty The Queen.
The dress features a neckline that folds around the shoulders to a low back that drapes into a flowing full length train.
Caroline Castigliano comments;
The Princess looks classic with a contemporary twist. The long sleeves staying in line with Royal tradition, the cuff style neckline and full flowing skirt in a jacquard print has a freshness and simplicity about it.
Princess Eugenie specifically wanted a gown with a low back to show off the scar on her back left from an operation for scoliosis. The Princess has dedicated a lot of time to raising awareness about the condition and by showing off the scar she makes a statement to change the way beauty is.
