Our very beautiful #CCBrideoftheWeek is Jessica Paul, Jessica was married last year at Cambridge University and looked truly stunning in one of our Caroline Castigliano Bridal Couture gowns.

Here’s her account of her day and the experience she had with the Caroline Castigliano team:

“I married my husband David in April 2013 at Peterhouse, Cambridge University, where we had met as undergraduates. Our wedding was intimate in that we shared it with only close friends and family, and sixty guests watched us exchange our vows in the college chapel.

The grounds and Deer Park provided wonderful opportunities for photographs following the wedding and we were blessed with warm sunshine on the day, despite the freezing wind and rain which preceded the beginning of April.

The two most memorable moments for me were firstly, seeing David for the first time at the end of the aisle. Watching him take in my dress and knowing that I would be marrying him not long after made me feel euphoric. The second moment was having time alone with my husband after the ceremony when our photographer took photographs of us strolling, talking and laughing in the grounds of Peterhouse. It gave us a moment to catch our breath and reflect on what had just happened. We were just so happy.

I found my dress at one of your stockists, the Stamford Bridal Rooms. After trying on a range of styles, I was given ‘Beauty’, and instantly fell in love. The shape, the fabric and the way the dress made me feel were all perfect. The black sash was the icing on the cake and ultimately led to our monochromatic colour scheme. I would count down the days between dress fittings, and every time I tried on my gown, I could imagine wearing whilst saying my vows. That was how I knew it was the one. On the day, ‘Beauty’ lived up to her name and fit me perfectly. Given the layers which made up the skirt, I moved with ease and always felt comfortable. I couldn’t imagine wearing a dress by any other designer – Caroline Castigliano gave me the perfect wedding dress for our perfect day.”
