Date of the wedding:
Sunday, 17th November 2024
Where and when did you get engaged?
Grand Hotel Tremezzo, a luxurious and iconic retreat overlooking the serene waters of Lake Como, on July 27th, 2023. The moment was framed by the stunning backdrop of Lake Como, with its shimmering waters and lush green hills, creating a picture-perfect setting.
Lake Como is one of my favourite places in the world.
Where did you get married, had your ceremony and the reception?
The Savoy Hotel, London
Why did you choose your venue?
I wanted a traditionally English and very London hotel. The Savoy ticked all the boxes.
Did you have a theme or a specific décor?
The chosen décor? All White! This classic and timeless theme beautifully complemented the grandeur of The Savoy, creating an enchanting atmosphere filled with elegance and romance.
How did you feel in your Castigliano gown?
"I felt like a fairytale princess."
The Gown
I was wearing a completely bespoke gown adorned with hand-beaded Swarovski crystals, I felt like a vision of timeless elegance. Every detail of the dress showcased unparalleled craftsmanship and luxury. The shimmering gown made the day feel truly magical and absolutely unforgettable.
What did you enjoy the most about your Caroline Castigliano experience?
"When I stepped into Caroline Castigliano in September 2023, I was warmly welcomed by an incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable team. I had very specific ideas for my gown and knew exactly what I wanted. When they didn’t have it, they went above and beyond to create a completely bespoke piece adorned with hand-beaded Swarovski crystals.
Throughout the entire process, I felt comfortable and happy every step of the way. From the toile to the final fittings, it was such a joyful experience. Caroline and Monika were absolutely amazing, ensuring everything turned out just as I had hoped. I loved every moment of it!"
Best moment of the day?
Seeing Sam (my husband) for the first time on the aisle! I was so excited for him to finally see my dress!
